Graphic designer heads up women's networking organisation

CASTLEBAR businesswoman Orla Cunningham has been elected president of Network Mayo for 2017.

Orla is a senior graphic designer and co-founder of All In Design & Print, a one stop shop for all your graphic design and printing needs, based in the heart of Castlebar.

A former graphic designer at The Connaught Telegraph and The Map Store, Castlebar, Orla has built up a large and loyal customer base over the past 15 years.

In May 2015 Orla and her business partner Ronan O’Grady opened All In Design & Print on Chapel Street and the business has grown from strength to strength.

The company’s core business being graphic design, they also provide a wide ranging print and print management service, which allows them to meet everyone’s needs from business fliers to billboard printing and design.

The company differentiates itself from other printers by offering a suite of ancillary services otherwise not available in Mayo, which include large format printing and laminating, large format photocopying, and thesis book binding.

Some clients include The Bon Secours Hospital Galway, Mayo County Council, Today FM, Breaffy House Resort, Delphi Resort, and Mayo University Hospital to name, but a few.

Orla has been involved with Network Mayo for the past number of years and was the 2016 branch vice-president. She has a passion for helping individuals, companies and non-profits and regularly sits on voluntary committees such as the hugely successful Candlelight Ball and the Ice Ball.

Orla will adopt the Network Ireland theme ‘Create Your Own Opportunities’ for 2017.

There are four pillars to this theme: Mindset – Being open to the opportunities that come your way; Networking – Being in the right place and surrounded by the right people to come across the opportunities; Skills – Training and coaching to be able to work on opportunities; and Fuelling Ambition – Having the drive to maximise opportunity.

Network Ireland is a progressive, dynamic organisation supporting the professional and personal development of women. Membership is made up of a very diverse group of women, from budding entrepreneurs, SME owners, professionals and leaders in indigenous and multinational organisations to non-profits, charities, arts and the public sector. The organisation has a strong voice and is interested in promoting diversity and equality, entrepreneurship and leadership development; collaborating with like-minded people and organisations.

This year's calendar of events features health and wellness, business and finance, motivation events and much more, ensuring there is something for everyone. The highlight will be the business awards in June.

The full calendar of events is available on the Network Mayo Facebook page.

Membership is now open for 2017 and anyone interested in joining can email networkmayo@gmail.com to request an application form.
