Cannonball is coming back to Mayo

CANNONBALL, featuring supercars and novelty cars, it hitting the roads of Ireland in September and it's coming back to Mayo.

On Saturday, September 9, at 3 p.m., Cannonball arrives back to Mayo, and to Claremorris for the first time, where spectators can get up close and personal with 190 of the finest cars on the planet and enjoy the unique festival atmosphere that Cannonball is renowned for.  

The Cannonball convoy will arrive through the town with the finish line at the Square.

The action-packed supercar spectacle will roll from September 8 to 10, with over 160,000 people expected to line the streets all over Ireland.  

Westport was a firm favourite of Cannonballers in 2016 and now back by popular demand in 2017 to Mayo, but this time to Claremorris.  

Now in its ninth year, Cannonball has raised almost €900,000 for Irish charities and this year proceeds will go to Make-a-Wish Ireland. Top mark cars including McLaren, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Porsche, Masseratti, Rolls Royce and Bentley will blaze a trail through Dublin, Kinsale, Limerick, Galway Plaza, Claremorris, Sligo, Mullingar, the Barack Obama Plaza in Moneygall, Co. Offaly, with a dramatic finish line in Kilkenny.  

Ten supercars are coming in from Dubai this year, and Claremorris will be infused with an electric atmosphere featuring Las Vegas Show Girls, live music, DJs, Audionetworks Transformers and Robots, family fun, the Cannonball Grid Girls, the Monster Energy JAM Truck, local entertainers and dignitaries.
