Breakthrough in westport house saga

LOANS linked to Westport House have been withdrawn from Project Arrow.

Minister of State Michael Ring has this morning confirmed that loans linked to lands at Westport House have been withdrawn from the Project Arrow loan sale and are the subject of discussion between NAMA and Mayo County Council.

“This is welcome news. Negotiations are now taking place between Mayo County Council and NAMA. These are discussions which I facilitated. This is something that I will continue to work on until this issue is fully resolved.

“I am very confident that these discussions will be fruitful.”
