WhistleBlast Quartet's Christmas cracker in Ballina Arts Centre

THE acclaimed WhistleBlast Quartet will perform their final concert before Christmas on the Nutcracker tour at Ballina Arts Centre this evening (Friday, December 18).

Be sure not to miss this concert if you are in the area and in need of some Christmas cheer. Featuring sleigh bells and singing, it's suitable for all the family - a perfect start to the Christmas season.

Arranged by WhistleBlast Quartet’s acclaimed Ken Edge, this sparkling Christmas show will also include 'Gabriel’s Oboe', 'Sleigh Ride' and popular carols in a fun and entertaining performance.

The main piece, however, is Tchaikovsky’s 'Nutcracker', narrated and performed by the quartet.

The WhistleBlast Quartet are Ken Edge (saxophones and clarinets), Conor Linehan (piano), Mary Curran (French horn) and Síle Daly (oboe and cor anglais).
