Special radio show on People of the Year awards

A PROGRAMME featuring the 16 recipients of this year’s Mayo People of the Year Awards will be broadcast on Midwest Radio on New Year’s day from 4 to 5 p.m.

Presenter Teresa O’Malley interviewed the recipients at the gala presentation ball at Breaffy House Hotel, Castlebar, last month.

The event is organised annually by RehabCare, Mayo County Council and The Connaught Telegraph and the proceeds go towerds the running of the Mayo RehabCare centre at Breaffy Road, Castlebar.
