Death of affable Castlebar woman

THE death has taken place of Mary Livingstone (née Foy), Turlough Road, Castlebar.

An affable and respected personality, she was wife of the late Joseph (Josie) Livingstone, painting contractor.

The deceased worked as a bookkeeper at The Connaught Telegraph for many years.

She is survived by her daughters Marianne, Margot, Emer and Regina, sons Joseph and Pat, sons-in-law Fergus and Michael, daughter-in-law Frances, grandchildren Nikki, Cameron, Patrick, James, Anthony, Mary Patricia, Mark, Emma, Patrick, David and Jack, brothers Joe and Jimmy, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends, to whom sympathy is tendered.

Her remains will reposing at the Coady Funeral Home on Sunday evening at 5 p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to the Church of The Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Requiem Mass takes place Monday at 11 a.m. followed by burial in the Old Cemetery.
