Three Mayo firms shortlisted for top awards

BANK of Ireland has announced the 96 companies shortlisted for the Bank of Ireland Startup Awards 2017 with three Mayo businesses nominated for awards.

Mayo business Make a Mark has been shortlisted in the ‘Emerging Startup’ category while Ballina business Pure Glan Food has been shortlisted in the ‘Food and Drink Entrepreneurial Startup’ and ‘Product and Manufacturing Startup’ categories.

Big Red Barn has also been nominated in the Product and Manufacturing Startup category.

The competition, now in its sixth year, recognises and rewards Irish startups for their success in business across 13 categories including digital, health and healthcare, food and drink, retail, fintech and technology with the awards taking place in the Mansion House in Dublin on Thursday, May 18.
