Passing of young Castlebar man evokes widespread sorrow

THE death has taken place of Charlie Davis, Lower Charles Street, and formerly of Rathbawn, Castlebar.

In his 30s, news of his passing has evoked a great sense of loss in the community. He was a member of an old and widely popular Castlebar family. 

He is survived by his parents Lar and Miriam, brothers Keith and Ian, sister Miriam, aunt Pauline, nieces, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and many friends, to whom deepest sympathy is tendered.

His remains will be reposing at the Coady Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5 o’clock with removal at 7 o’clock to the Church of the Holy Rosary. Requiem Mass takes place on Thursday morning at 11 o’clock with the funeral proceeding to the New Cemetery, Castlebar.
