Sports distinction for Charlestown College

THE girls basketball squad of St. Joseph's Community College, Charlestown, has been selected as the 'Female Team of the Year' by The Connaught Telegraph ahead of the newspaper's annual sports awards presentation early in 2018.

It is in recognition of the team winning a national cup and league double under the guidance of coaches Ann Leydon and Ian Johnson.
