Pamper gift project for cancer patients

A CASTLEBAR woman has come up with a novel project to mark cancer awareness months this October and November.

For just €20 you can sponsor a pamper package featuring all natural products as a treat for someone receiving or recovering from cancer treatment.

Rowena Gillespie, whose Aloe Forever range of natural products are proving very popular, explained: “We all know someone or have a family member who has been touched by cancer.

“As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and November is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month I want to ask everyone to help me make their treatment and recovery a little nicer by sponsoring a special pack of all natural products.”

The cancer care packages are a little treat, and being all natural products they can help with recovery and make patients recovery a little easier.

Packages include avocado soap, aloe deodorant, aloe toothgel, aloe lip balm, along with snuggly bed socks, some sweeties and a few samples of gorgeous Aloe Forever moisturisers.

The cost is €20 to sponsor one pack, which will then be donated to Mayo Cancer Support, Rock Rose House, or another cancer support unit of your choice. And Rowena will look after delivery for you.
