Network Ireland Mayo lauded for leading the way for female businesswomen

THE Minister for Rural and Community Development, Michael Ring, is tonight marking the 25th anniversary of Network Ireland Mayo at an event in Breaffy House Resort.

Network Ireland Mayo is a volunteer organisation supporting the professional and personal growth of women.

Membership is made up of employees, entrepreneurs, SME owners and professionals. Its members have leadership roles in indigenous and multinational organisations as well as in charities, arts organisations and the public sector.

Minister Ring said: “Network Ireland Mayo has done fantastic work in the last 25 years as a network to support women in Mayo.

“Twenty five years on from its foundation, it is stronger than ever. Its membership is at its highest ever level and the organisation has never been as active. I would strongly encourage female employees and employers in Mayo to consider joining Network Ireland Mayo.

“Network Ireland Mayo is a progressive, vibrant organisation supporting the professional and personal development of women. It has become an organisation that women want to be a member of.

“Network Ireland brings like-minded people coming together and working with the same interests and goals to the same outcomes. It brings women together in ways that allow them to thrive. I look forward to seeing them grow and prosper in the years to come.”
