TripAdvisor distinction for Mayo hotels and B&B

FIVE Mayo establishments have received good news in the annual TripAdvisor Travellers Choice Awards.

Creevagh Heights, Carrowmore, Lacken, was selected Ireland's top B&B for the second consecutive year.

Run by the Whelan family, it is within close vicinity of the spectacular Downpatrick Hotel.

Three Mayo hotels were highly ranked in the chart for family destinations.

Breaffy House Hotel is listed 5th, Harbour Mill Hotel, Westport, 6th, and the Cill Aodan Court Hotel, Kiltimagh, 7th.

Ashford Castle, Cong, got a ranking of 4th in the prestigious hotel category.
