Cora Staunton suffers leg break in Australia

MAYO ace Cora Staunton has suffered a double leg break in an AFL Sydney Premier Division match.

She was playing for UNSW-ES Bulldogs when the injury occurred in a tackle during a game against Macquarie University.

Initial scans confirmed the four-times All-Ireland winner broke her tibia and fibula bones in her right leg.
