Details confirmed for clash of Tyrone and Mayo in All-Ireland series

The fixture details for Mayo's All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Round 2A clash with Tyrone have been confirmed.

The game will be played in O'Neills Healy Park, Omagh, on Sunday, June 14, throwing in at 3.30 p.m. It will be shown live on RTÉ.

The counties met in Omagh last year as well in an All-Ireland SFC Group 1 encounter, a game that Mayo won by 2-17 to 1-14. At the end of the group stages, however, Tyrone were top of the standings while Mayo finished bottom of the pile and failed to progress.

Mayo and Tyrone also met in the 2021 All-Ireland final, which Tyrone won by 2-14 to 0-15.

There will be two other Round 2A games on June 14, including the meeting of Louth and Armagh (also on RTÉ) in Inniskeen, starting at 1 p.m., and the clash of Galway and Westmeath in Salthill, throwing in at 2 p.m. (live on GAA+).

There will also be a Round 2B game on June 14 as Cavan host Dublin in Kingspan Breffni Park at 2 p.m.

The sole Round 2A game on Saturday, June 13, is the big clash of Donegal and Cork in MacCumhaill Park, Ballybofey, at 3 p.m.

The Round 2B games that day are: Monaghan v Roscommon (St. Tiernach's Park, Clones, at 4.30 p.m., live on GAA+), Kildare v Kerry (Cedral St. Conleth's Park, Newbridge, at 5.30 p.m.) and Derry v Meath (Celtic Park, Derry, at 7 p.m., live on GAA+).

The winners of the Round 2A games will go straight into the All-Ireland quarterfinals, while the losers will go into Round 3 to face the winners of the Round 2B matches. Losers of Round 2B matches are eliminated from the All-Ireland series.
