The Saw Doctors to play iconic Mayo venue next month

The Saw Doctors will play the TF Royal Theatre, Castlebar on Saturday, September 5, as the county's celebrations of Mayo's historic All-Ireland football triumph show no sign of slowing down.

Tickets go on pre-sale this Wednesday, August 12, at 10am, via the link below, which goes live on Wednesday morning.

No pre-sale code is required.

General sale follows on Friday, August 14, at 10am.

One of the Tuam band's biggest hit, "The Green and Red of Mayo," has taken on fresh significance since Mayo ended their 75-year wait for Sam Maguire with a three-point win over Kerry at Croke Park on July 26.

The anthem rang out around Croke Park moments after the final whistle, as Jack Coyne lifted the cup for the first time in the county's history since 1951 and has since hit over a billion streams on spotify.

With Mayo now flying the green and red as All-Ireland champions, The Saw Doctors' Castlebar date is expected to be one of the hottest tickets of the year.

Hopefuls are advised to be ready when the pre-sale link goes live on Wednesday morning.
