Official opening of extended Western Alzheimers' respite centre

WESTERN Alzheimers are set to celebrate the official opening of Marian House respite home following its recent extension and refurbishment.

The works included the addition of five new ensuite bedrooms, the refurbishment and reconfiguration of existing rooms and the addition of a new day/activities room for residents.

These works will further enhance the experience of residents who enjoy person centred care based on respect, dignity and best practice standards.

The official opening at the Ballindine centre will be performed by Minister Michael Ring next Friday, May 10, at 11 a.m. All are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
